#NOIRMIZZOU
At homecoming, people dream of a party that is worth the outfit they plan to wear.
An event that treats them like the star they are dressed to be and doesn't leave everyone wondering at the last minute about where to go, will they be able to get in, how much will they have to pay if they get to the door and will homecoming live up to expectations. In 2014, that event stopped being a dream.
It became NOIR: A Suitable Affair.
A chic, secret party hosted on the homecoming Saturday for University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. Only guests purchasing pre-sold tickets will be allowed to attend this fashionable event where they’ll know all party details…except the location. The venue will be revealed by e-mail on the event date only to RSVP’d members.
Similar to the annual MET Gala, each year has a style theme to dress for.

2022
STYLE THEME: Cosmic Culture
INSIGHT: Out of this world style with an intergalactic feel. Think about stars, space, metallic, sequins and of course 'Alien Superstar' vibes. Metallic confetti glittered the sky in a room full of stars on the biggest night of homecoming.
2019
STYLE THEME: Monochromatic Masquerade
INSIGHT: Joining two popular theme request options 'Monochromatic Masquerade' allowed guest to dress in all one color and grab a matching mask. The largest sold out NOIR to date was the colorful climax to homecoming weekend.
2018
STYLE THEME: Emerald City
INSIGHT: In tribute to the iconic style scene from 'The Wiz', our event recreated the glowing mountains around the DJ booth to start with red lighting, switched to yellow and ended with a confetti blast to close homecoming's biggest night in Emerald City.
2017
STYLE THEME: BlackGold
INSIGHT: 'BlackGold' was a royal celebration of the black in "Black and Gold" during Homecoming. Encouraging a mix of crowns and jewels paired with the official colors of Mizzou (Black and Gold), the red carpet rolled out for a crowd of kings and queens.
2016
STYLE THEME: Prints and Patterns
INSIGHT: Once is an occurrence. Twice makes it a coincidence. Three times makes it a pattern. In our third year, we celebrated by requesting all guests to wear their favorite prints and patterns to celebrate the new tradition for Mizzou's Homecoming.
